Woodford Green is an area steeped in history with areas of natural beauty. One of the areas of great interest is the ancient woodland of Epping Forest with its natural walkways and cycle tracks. Transport in and out of Woodford is superb and the area benefits from a network of road systems, including the A406, M25 and M11 giving access in and out of London and direct links to Stansted airport (approximately 33 miles). Travelling into central London is made easy by the use of the London Underground Central Line system.
Schooling in the area is supported by a mix of private schooling, including Bancrofts, and the Woodford County High Grammer School plus a good selection of state run schools from infant up to secondary level. Woodford Green’s local authority is Redbridge, and the area is made up of Woodford Green, Woodford Bridge and Woodford Wells.
