About Buckhurst Hill, Loughton and Chigwell
Having worked for Churchills for the past 9 years, experiencing and covering the local surrounding areas, Buckhurst Hill is most certainly at the top of my list as the perfect place to call home.Known for its picturesque surroundings, affluent atmosphere, excellent amenities and convenient Central Line Station, providing quick and easy access to central London and other parts of Essex, makes it an attractive place to live. The area boasts a storied past dating back centuries, showcasing a wide spread of Victorian, Edwardian and 1930’s homes, as well as newer developments throughout the area. The charming Queens Road occupies the central area of Buckhurst Hill, which for me, personally, gives a true representation of its village feel whilst maintaining the luxuries of a modern High Street. This including a variety of independent retailers, restaurants, cafes, and pubs, catering for your everyday needs and leisure activities. If you are a nature enthusiast you will have the pleasure of a vast amount of green space on your doorstep including Roding Valley Meadows and Epping Forest, perfect for those peaceful walks. Alternatively, pop over for a family outing to Buckhurst Hill Pond to feed the ducks. The area has a strong sense of community spirit, with residents actively involved in various social and cultural activities.Furthermore, the area has an excellent reputation for good schooling, home to a number of reputable primary and secondary schools, both state-funded and private. If you are unfamiliar with Buckhurst Hill, I would highly recommend you visit and explore. I am sure you will not be disappointed.George Demetriou, Branch Manager
