Bob Fairall

Director & Co-Founder

Having started in estate agency in the mid 1970’s, Bob, together with his co founder and friend Peter Wheeler, opening the doors of Churchill Estates Walthamstow in January 1991. Having both been area managers of the well known Guardian Estates for many years, it was decided that they combine their experience and enthusiasm to create their own agency.

During the ensuing 10 years, they were reunited with their previous partners Chris Trussell and Larry Hunt to form this well established multi branched network selling and letting homes across East London and West Essex.

Gary Clarke

Consultant | F.N.A.E.A.

Having worked within the property industry since the mid 1970’s, Gary has experienced various property market trends throughout the high interest rates, booms and crashes, no matter what the marketplace throws at us, he has always prided himself upon ensuring his clients needs come first. Gary has been part of the Churchill Estates Family for over 20 years now, and expresses his pleasure of having worked at all of our branches over the course of his career with the company. While now based as a Consultant in our Chigwell hub, Gary originally opened our South Woodford Branch some 22 years ago, along with Philip Mount who remains as the Branch Manager still today, he then moved onto opening our Wanstead Branch where our manager Andy Binnington is now at the helm. The Churchill Estates Family allows us to run our offices individually, whilst working as part of a large team across the Branches, all having the same goals and not having the restrictions of a corporate ‘big brother’ looking over our shoulders.

Martin Longman

Senior Area Manager | North & South Chingford

Boasting more than 38 years experience working in the Chingford area Martin has been helping the local community realise their buying and selling needs since 1987. Joining the Churchill family in 1997, Martin oversees both of our offices in North & South Chingford as Area Manager.

Rory Wheeler

Director Of Lettings | M.N.A.E.A. M.A.R.L.A

Rory joined Churchill Estates following in his late father's footsteps and has been with us since 2006, now heading up our well-established residential lettings team with previous experience in residential sales from our Buckhurst Hill office. Rory holds accreditations as both a member of the national association of estate agents (M.N.A.E.A.) and also as a member of the association of residential lettings agents (M.A.R.L.A.) and prides himself on his self-motivated drive of being able to offer the highest possible standards of personal service.

Senior Branch Manager | South Woodford & Woodford Green

With a total of over 35 years of Estate Agency experience, Philip has been advising on the local property market from Snaresbrook-to-Woodford Green throughout his career and has been ever-present at Churchill Estates' South Woodford office since its opening in 1999.

Jack Johnson

Branch Manager |Wanstead

With over a decade of experience in the property industry, Jack has built his career from starting as a Negotiator to becoming the Branch Manager at Churchill Estates in Wanstead. His in-depth knowledge of the local area combined with a genuine passion for the community, makes him a trusted advisor for anyone looking to buy or sell in Wanstead, Leytonstone and the surrounding areas.

Branch Manager | Buckhurst Hill

Having started his career with Churchill Estates in 2015 as a negotiator at our Walthamstow branch, George soon progressed to senior negotiator level at South Woodford prior to taking up the branch manager position at Buckhurst Hill. George and his established team are actively involved in the local area having recently been awarded the sponshorship of Davenant School 'Parents Association' with their many school and community events.

Daniel Casey

Branch Manager | Walthamstow

I was born and raised in Walthamstow, growing up in the Blackhorse Road area near Stoneydown Park. As a youngster, I gained my first experience in the working world with part-time employment in Walthamstow Market.
I began my career with Churchill Estates in 2000 as an Office Trainee at our Buckhurst Hill branch, working under the guidance of the late and greatly missed Mark Deudney. I remained at Buckhurst Hill for several years before taking on a new challenge in 2004 as a Sales Negotiator at the Bakers Arms branch.

In 2005, I transferred to the Wanstead branch as a Senior Negotiator and Lister, where I worked alongside Gary Clarke—a professional relationship that has spanned over two decades. I was later asked to temporarily manage the Loughton branch as a Caretaker Manager, a role that broadened my understanding of the business from a leadership perspective.

Following this, I moved to the North Chingford branch as Assistant Manager, a position I held for several fulfilling years. In 2017, I was invited to return to my roots, taking up a role at the Walthamstow branch—working once again with Gary Clarke. With Gary now moving into a consultancy role within the company, I’ve proudly taken on the role of Branch Manager, committed to continuing the strong legacy we’ve built together.

Claire seamlessly integrated into the Churchill Estates team in February 2022, quickly establishing herself as an integral part of our family. Her extensive background in office accounting, spanning over two decades, positioned her perfectly to assume the role of Accounts Manager soon after joining.

Michael Chalk

Senior Lettings Manager | Chingford

Michael has over 30 years experience in the property industry working for both corporate and independent Estates Agent within the Residential Sales and Lettings markets with a number of years spent in the Highgate, Muswell Hill and Kentish Town areas. Moving to Churchill Estates and now covering Chingford and surrounding areas since 2010, Michael prides himself on having developed many successful, long-standing relationships throughout his extensive portfolio of landlords based upon an excellent understanding of objectives and requirements and working to deliver the best possible levels of service.

Pearce Clarke

Pearce started his journey with Churchill Estates in 2013, stepping in to provide Saturday cover. His enthusiasm for estate agency was evident from the start, hinting at a promising career path ahead. With his father, Gary, being one of our esteemed long-serving members, Pearce's passion for the industry runs in the family. Beginning as a junior sales negotiator at our Buckhurst Hill branch, Pearce swiftly showcased his talent and commitment, earning him a move to our Wanstead office. There, he underwent a change and training and seamlessly transitioned into a lettings role, where he now thrives as our accomplished lettings manager.
